Details on requested permissions from Xero

Our integration will ask you for the following permissions to be able to offer you the functionality of our integration.

Login with Xero (Profile Information and Email)

this allows us to match you to the Xero organisation and create a corresponding user in our system. Your Xero password and other login credentials like your 2 factor authentication are never shared with us.

Organisation Access

View and Manage your Organisation Settings and Business transactions.

While using our Magento integration we may access the following from your Xero organisation. Read Only Access:

Chart of Accounts - to provide you with options to map your Magento income
Tax Rates - to allow mapping of your Magento tax rates to the ones you use in Xero
Organisations - used for displaying the organisation name
Tracking Categories - if used to apply a tracking category to your sales
Branding Themes - Not yet used on the roadmap

Read and Write Access:

Items - list of products and services you sell
Invoices - Account Receivable Invoices created from your Magento sales data
CreditNotes - Accounts Receivable CreditNotes created from your Magento creditmemos
Payments - Associated with Invoices in Xero to indicate status of the invoice
